Martha and Wes answering questions about the Vital Pulse Survey at Golden PRIDE 2025.
What does the survey do?
The results guide granting decisions in both the Foundationβs Community Grant Program offered annually in October as well as CBTβs Redi Grant Program, administered by the Town of Golden. Collectively, these programs distribute over $300,000 into our community and the results help identify emerging needs and opportunities.
Together, these snapshots ensure community voices shape the future of our region.

Itβs Part of Something Bigger
Vital Pulse is part of Vital Signs, a national program led by Community Foundations of Canada and powered by local foundations. It brings together national data and community input to track quality of life, spotlight pressing concerns, and spark meaningful change. Read more about Vital Signs here.
As part of this work, we also created a Non-Profit Snapshot in 2019, a document capturing ideas and project opportunities identified by community members. You can read the full report here: Non-Profit Snapshot.
